As the membership of The MCN continues to grow (Currently over 200 students, consultants, and recruiters!), I've been getting some great feedback and suggestions for how to improve it. Here are a couple of plans for the future.
1. Interviews with real-life consultants, who are either still working at top consulting firms or who have moved on to new experiences. I have a number of consultants lined up to interview about their recruiting experiences, their work, and their future plans. Expect to see these start showing up in the coming months.
2. The "Survival Guide" to consulting case prep. In trying to make the site as comprehensive as possible, I've also made it a bit overwhelming for students who have an interview in a week and have had no time to prepare. A long-term project of mine is to create step-by-step guides for students with limited time-frames e.g. "The 7-day survival guide to consulting case prep".
3. A more detailed section on mental math, with up to 100 short examples of questions to practice. This is also a long-term project, but is something I would like to get done before recruitment ramps up again for full-time.
If you have any further suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I've received a lot of great feedback but ultimately the most actionable feedback is suggestions for improvement, so send them along!
